The Allstate Foundation Awards John Hawk of Chatham, An Exclusive Agent for Allstate New Jersey, With An Agency Hands in the Community Award

September, 2007 (Chatham & Bridgewater, New Jersey) – John Hawk of Chatham, an Exclusive Agent with Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company (Allstate New Jersey), was recently awarded a 2007 Agency Hands in the Community Award (AHIC) for his commitment to volunteering in the community through the Chatham Athletic Foundation. With the AHIC award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation that will go toward the support of the Chatham Athletic Foundation. The Chatham Athletic Foundation was created to promote youth athletics and to increase safety in athletics through public education programs. Much of the initial work will focus on reducing the local government's burden of improving and maintaining athletic fields within Chatham Borough, Chatham Township and/or the Chatham School District.

William P. Ballinger, President of Allstate New Jersey, said, “Allstate New Jersey believes that it is very important for corporations to take an active interest in the communities they serve. We are proud to support John in such a worthwhile effort to help New Jerseyans through The Allstate Foundation.” Ballinger added, “The grant from the Allstate Foundation will provide much needed support for the group’s invaluable work.”
