The Chatham Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CAF) is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization that was created to enhance and promote youth athletics in grades K-8. CAF was founded in 2005 by parents with a passion for the positive experience organized athletic programs can provide for children. The Foundation has awarded grants that have helped fund large scale projects like Lum Field and the Shunpike Field renovation to smaller programs such as athletic safety education and concussion testing. The foundation often works in conjunction with Chatham’s local governments to identify projects and needed funding that would benefit all youth athletic programs, as well as providing grants to local non-profit organizations and schools.
 

Our mission is to promote youth athletics by obtaining funding to improve Chatham Township's and Borough's athletic facilities in cooperation with the local governments.
